Inner Art Home Education is safely orientated in a bright, inclusive space with a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Our comprehensive and relaxing Art time is rooted in rich, immersive activities. We create joyful outcomes, embark on fulfilling adventures, and enjoy exploring new ways of thinking.

Inner Art for Homeschoolers (7yrs+)

Inner Art encompasses a broad Art curriculum including painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, mixed media work. Through experimentation we learn new ways to use materials and develop ideas, record our discoveries in sketchbooks, and produce sustained personal artwork.

We promote social skills through sharing ideas, collaborative work, and celebrating progress together, with the view to building confidence, and enabling each unique learners’ qualities to shine. Above all, learners’ belief in themselves is priority, and we share our Inner Art mindset of inclusivity, creative exploration and positive productivity.

Unique to Individuals

Our Home Education themes and subject matter are tailored to each learner’s individual preferences, natural aptitudes and current interests. We believe in inspired action, freedom of expression, and generating a life long love of Art.

Toby attended Inner Art as part of his Home Education over the course of two years. He embarked on a wonderfully personal creative journey, often led by his favourite pastime trampolining, and his fascination for photography and perspective. He made a different piece of self directed Artwork each month, which gave him not only the structure to thrive and purposeful learning, but also a unique collection of quality Artwork for his Art college application.

Inner Art Home Education is led by Inner Art Founder & Tutor Katie Beth who has been teaching Art for over 25yrs, has her own children, and loves all things nature and outdoors.

Katie Beth champions diversity, and is experienced in teaching a wide range of SEN & additional needs. Let us know how we can help.

Trips & Visits

Nature is our inspiration, and we venture outside to explore and work as often as possible, finding influences in the seasons, and engaging with the world around us.

Trips have included excursions to Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, Surrey Artists Open Studios, location drawing in parks, coffee shops and public spaces, Big Draw events, figure drawing at Festivals, visits to Open Days and Exhibitions at local schools and colleges, and many more!
