Skills: observational drawing in pencil, graphite, charcoal, chalk & ink
Concepts: measuring techniques, line & proportion, anatomy & form.
Outcomes: a collection of portraiture & figure drawings
'Portrait & Figure' gives you tips and tools to record proportion with accuracy and also equips you with knowledge and understanding to describe 3D form of the head and body with conviction. You will have the opportunity to work from a live model, and practice recording from observation with expert tuition.
10 hours long (2hrs per week, over 5 weeks) at Inner Art Studio, Reigate
Materials provided: drawing equipment & paper
You will need: to attend a life drawing session held in a hall (TBA during course hours)
Please be aware: life drawing is from a nude life model
