We're a very lucky Art Studio. Our team at Inner Art all embrace the idea of Art as integral to our wellbeing, and are a wonderfully welcoming, professional and inspiring bunch! As well as being practicing artists, Inner Art Tutors have a wealth of hands on teaching experience, and we feel immensely privileged to be able to share our Art passion with our students and wider community.

Hannah Grist
Inner Art Tutor
Hannah studied at Central Saint Martins, UAL, and gained a distinction before completing a Master of Arts in Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh with First Class Honours. She was awarded the New Graduate Award by the Scottish Society of Artists and displayed her work at the Royal Scottish Academy. She is now a practising artist in Reigate, regularly completing commissions.
Hannah is passionate about engaging in and encouraging, Art and Craft in an age where technology is so all-consuming. She believes it provides a wonderful escape from the stresses of surrounding influences and pressures. Hannah has worked with children regularly and loves how they embrace an optimistic and wholehearted view of the world.
She’s thrilled to share her knowledge and expertise in Art and inspire a younger generation to live in the moment, align more closely with nature and be unapologetically creative.

Hannah Wiggins-Thirkill
Inner Art Tutor
Hannah studied at Wimbledon School of Art and Roehampton University. Her background as a production designer and illustrator for film informs her exploratory Art practice. She specialises in documenting contemporary landscape, working in oils and mixed media drawing and has exhibited in group shows in Oxford, Surrey and London since 2002.
Hannah has taught Fine Art and Photography to students aged 11-18 at Rosebery School in Epsom for 12 years, alongside designing and delivering adult courses and 1:1 tuition for students of all ages with Inner Art. She has worked as a GCSE Art Moderator for eight years, and taught Art in a specialist speech & language setting.
Hannah has two small children and delights in observing and encouraging the development of visual literacy from the very start of our lives as art-makers.

Amy Maxine Younger
Inner Art Tutor
Amy is studying at the University of the Creative Arts, Fine Art with Integrated Foundation Year. She enjoys acrylics and watercolour for painting, and pencil media for drawing. Amy also founded her own successful Face Painting business in 2017, has competed in body painting competitions, and offers her face painting service within our local community.
Amy thrives working with children, and runs Inner Art Parties and Holiday Workshops since she started at Inner Art in 2021. She is happiest making children smile and seeing their pleasure at artwork they create together. She loves seeing adults react in the same way, reminding them they were kids once too! Amy's Art event experience, lovely customer service, and in depth understanding of engaging young children link with her enjoyment of being a mum of two daughters.

Kiri Jones
Inner Art Tutor
Kiri studied at Epsom School of Art, Norwich School of Art and The Royal Academy Schools, London where she was taught Life Drawing skills by Norman Blamey R.A. Her work is in collections including Manpower Plc. and the FSA. Kiri is a practising artist, inspired by the beautiful landscape of the Surrey Hills, working in both acrylic and oil.
Kiri has experience working with children with SEND and children who are educated at home. Kiri was an artist in residence for a local Forest School and is trained as a Forest School assistant.
Kiri loves working with children in a creative environment, helping to explore ideas through different Art media, often materials found in the natural world. She is also interested in wellbeing and the therapeutic powers of Art and nature, believing that Art, creativity and time spent in nature have huge potential for healing and supporting our mental health.

Calvin Bunyan
Inner Art Tutor
Having grown up in an artistic family, Calvin followed an unconventional study path. After completing an Art Foundation at Amersham School of Art and Design he studied in a working Art studio under a practising Fine Art painter and sculptor.
After gaining a certification in Education, Calvin tutored on the Art Foundation Course at Croydon School of Art and Design where he progressed to Head of Foundation Studies. He specialises in still life, life drawing, multimedia, wood, metal, plastics and ceramics.
Calvin has his own Art studio workshop to continues to produce his own creative works. He knows learning to draw and developing artistic talent is a matter of attitude, approach and practise. He provides Art students with a grounding and authentic Art learning experience not to be missed.

Cathy Meese
Inner Art Tutor
Cathy is a qualified Art & Design tutor, specialising in Drawing, Mixed Media and Printmaking. Since completing her Art Teaching PGCE, she has continued to develop her Art practice alongside tutoring all ages from 5 years upwards. She has a background in Design and Scenic Arts for theatre, film, and exhibitions, having studied her Arts degree in Theatre Design at Wimbledon School of Art.
Cathy's own artistic practice orientates around printmaking and drawing. She has a passion for the authenticity of working from observation, whilst relishing expression and frededom of ideas.
Her teaching explores the essential formal Art elements and is rooted in appreciation of contextual Modern Art. She continually promotes students’ own artistic expression, and inspires Art learners of all types and aptitudes.

Kirsten Baron
Inner Art Tutor
Kirsten started her Art education at Reigate School of Art & Design and at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design (now UCA), graduating with a BA Hons in Graphic Design & Illustration. Since then, she has established her own Art practice in Reigate, with work shown in local galleries and exhibitions. Her main work is in printmaking, collage and painting.
Kirsten has been teaching since 2007, both in Further Education and Alternative Provision, and on a one-to-one basis. She enjoys helping students find their personal strengths and encourages experimentation and discovery. The focus is always on enjoying the process and finding new ways of expression.
When not teaching, making or looking at Art, Kirsten spends her time with her pack of retired greyhounds, gardening or playing music.

Helen Worgan
Inner Art Tutor & Studio Manager
Helen's organisational skills and love of lists led her to a two-decade long career in studio management where she worked in various creative industries from print and production to digital photography and publishing before taking time to raise her family. She has recently completed a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Reigate School of Art and is now undertaking an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University.
Having run Art club at St. John’s Primary, Helen made the crossover to tutor at Inner Art, alongside working as our in-house Studio Manager and as a LSA (Learner Support Assistant) at East Surrey College. She loves to challenge and inspire young artists, whilst helping them to grow in confidence through the work that they create.
Helen believes art is for everyone and has a special interest in art as a therapy form, especially for its valuable role in mental health.

Rebecca Regan
Inner Art Project Manager
Rebecca has over 13 years experience in Property & Facilities Management across corporate office buildings, gallery space and Fine Art storage facilities. She was Regional Facilities Lead for Willis Towers Watson which included managing their local Reigate offices, and was lucky to spend nearly four years working for the prestigious London auction house, Sotheby's.
Rebecca took a career break at the end of 2021 focusing on her young family and with a little extra time on her hands, picked up a digital pencil and started exploring the world of Digital Art. Rebecca has always had a creative streak, and completed her Art Foundation at Chelsea College of Art & Design. She thoroughly enjoys the world of Art and shares this with her young daughters.

Miffy Wilson
Inner Art Administrator
Miffy has spent spent over two decades working for a range of companies and industries including financial services, automotive, creative, and tourism. She provides administrational, operational and most project management support always with a focus of implementing or improving processes and procedures. She makes running Inner Art smoother and easier!
Miffy lives in Reigate with her family, and has become part of the fabric of our Art tuitiion work within the local community. Through her expertise in caring for detail and keeping Inner Art organised, we're able to live in the big picture and concentrate on our Inner Art Vision.

Katie Beth Hooper
Inner Art Owner
Katie Beth believes Art is for all and makes a fundamental difference to our lives. She taught Art in schools for over 15 years, and was a Deputy Head of House working in pastoral care and with those with extra educational needs for 6 of those. She has two daughters of her own.
Katie Beth graduated from Kingston University with an Illustration degree and Distinction for Life Drawing. She exhibited in West Sussex and London, and curated an Art exhibition in Carthage, Tunisia. She specialises in oil painting and has travelled extensively in Europe on location drawing trips. She worked as an Art Tutor for a special royal family, and also for Toyota UK.
Promoting wellbeing and alignment with our inner voice is her aim. She founded Inner Art in 2017.
